Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification Examination Preparation

This two-day workshop will expand and clarify issues and topics associated with a study program for taking the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification examination. You will improve your test-taking skills by completing a Sample Exam of 160 questions and by discussing the validation behind both correct and incorrect answers. This program is specifically designed to maximize the likelihood that you will succeed on the first try.
Upon completion, you will be able to:
Identify personal strengths and weaknesses in each of the knowledge areas
Explain the correct answer to each of the Sample Exam questions

Project Managers that earn PMP® certification must be trained and experienced in applying the PMI® methodology in the following five Project Management Process Groups:
Project Initiation - Determine initial project scope and objectives. Gain approval to develop a detail project plan.
Project Planning - Determine specific project goals. This includes detailed Work Breakdown Structure, schedules, budgets, risk management plan, communication plan, and resources to complete the project. Gain approval to execute the project plan.
Project Execution - Coordinate activities and tasks with a wide-range of resources to complete the project plan.
Project Control - Measuring progress and ensuring the project goals are on track for planned completion. Provide status reports to management. Take corrective action when necessary.
Project Closure - Formal acceptance and official closure of the project. Evaluate and document the results of the project.
Prerequisite
It is highly recommended that all attendees read “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide” prior to the workshop and bring questions that pertain to the material being presented in the workshop.
